09/04/2009: Elettronica Oggi: certified circulation lists
Bureau Veritas certifies the quality of the circulation list for Elettronica Oggi, confirming it as the only Italian magazine within the electronic industry to audit its circulation details
A new, major acknowledgement for the magazine published by Fiera Milano Editore. Bureau Veritas has issued the auditing certification which certifies the target readers for Elettronica Oggi, confirming it, once again, as the only Italian magazine in this sector to audit the quality of its lists.

Milan, April 9th 2009 – Elettronica Oggi, the leading magazine in Italy for both microelectronics - microprocessors, analogical and digital integrated circuits, programmable logic devices, passive components, packaging etc.- and professional electronics - instrumentation, software, advanced technologies, biotechnology, nanotechnologies etc.- after a meticulous auditing process carried out by Bureau Veritas, has obtained the certification confirming the quality of its circulation lists. As part of an in-depth quality process that began ten years ago with the issuing of the first BPA certification, which was replaced in 2005 with a service certification from the then BVQi Italia, Elettronica Oggi has once again confirmed the quality of its circulation lists under certificate n°. 409/001 issued by Bureau Veritas on 17/03/2009. We would like to point out that Bureau Veritas is one of the leading organisations on an international level that assesses the risk linked to quality, with professional members of staff dedicated to assessing conformity and certification in QHSE-SA circles for all market sectors, both public and private, from the industry to services.
Elettronica Oggi has once again been confirmed as the first and only magazine in Italy to audit the quality of its circulation: to do so it brought in one of the main international companies to ensure a reliable guarantee of the results achieved. “The purpose behind this new important certification is to let our reference market know, in no uncertain terms, just how committed we are when it comes to quality, not just from the point of view of the contents but, as in this case, also in terms of circulation”, said Alberto Taddei, the Director of the Technology Division at Fiera Milano Editore S.p.A. and the Publisher of the magazine.
“I am firmly convinced that some light needs shedding on the jungle of data being bandied about by editors. Even more so in a period of crisis like the one we are currently caught up in, in which, as I see it, our advertisers should be given solid certainties, not just volatile chit-chat. Knowing that the magazine is being run in accordance with the target readers as claimed by the publisher though not declared by the editor himself - as, unfortunately, is usually the case – but by a third influential and independent party, is, as I see it, the best answer there is for anyone who is still undecided about which magazines they should be using to get their message across and invest their advertising budgets in”.
Below follows a list of the profiles in terms of job function and industries covered by the certification and which were commented on by the technicians at Bureau Veritas in keeping with the corresponding certificate:
“With regard to the audit concerning the job function the level of compliance with the target readers was assessed as being good. […] With regard to the audit of the company’s merchandise sector, the level of compliance with the target readers was assessed as being excellent”..
